Kristina Olvera

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Kristina Marie Olvera of Artesia, New Mexico.

Miss Kristina, 19, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Artesia.

Fr. Paul Murtagh, SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family members.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Kristina was born October 14, 1993 in Artesia the daughter of Miguel Olvera and Beatrice Saenz Olvera. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

Kristina was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, loved to shop, and play around on facebook. She also enjoyed drawing and painting.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Ramon Olvera uncles Richard Calderon, and Jesus Olvera and cousins Jr. Calderon and Ricardo Olvera.

Survivors include her parents Miguel and Beatrice Olvera of Artesia sister Andrea Olvera of Espanola, N.M. brothers Oscar Olvera of Artesia, Mikey Olvera of Artesia, Martin Olvera and wife Jessica of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Roger Olvera and wife Monique of Artesia grandparents Ismael and Francisca Saenz of Artesia, and Rosa Maria Olvera of Mexico numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
