Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 1 at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary for Kermit T. Soderberg, Artesia, New Mexico. P PMr. Soderberg, 77, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. P PPastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Roland, Bob Johnson, Ed Parsons, Jack Brannon, Sam Karr, and Tim Collier. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Parsons, Gerald McLennan, David Simons, Dave Collier, Don Price, and Warren Nell. P PMr. Soderberg was born November 22, 1926 in Lueders, Texas; the son of Axel Soderberg and Hertha Basland Soderberg. P PHe served in the United States Army during World War II and came to Artesia in 1959. P POn November 25, 1977 he was married to Billie J. Wall in Artesia. P PHe owned and operated Swede's Tank and Supply; and was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God; and the American Legion. P PMr. Soderberg was preceded in death by his parents; by brothers Harry Soderberg and Billy Soderberg; and by sisters Marie McLennan and Martha Jane Doss. P
Survivors include his wife Billie Soderberg of the family home; daughters Christine Soderberg of Miami, Oklahoma and Rebecah Pierce of Sonora, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
