Kenneth Hendrix

Services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Monday, March 8, at West Main Baptist Church for Kenny Hendrix, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Hendrix, 51, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 in Lubbock, Texas. Rev. Leslie Hendrix will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kendall Hendrix, Darren Vaughn, Todd Hendrix, Thomas Ezell, and Jason Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Tidwell, Chris Fuentes, Elton Huffman, and Troy Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix was born October 23, 1952 in Durango, Colorado; the son of Lewis T. Hendrix and Elsie McCoy Hendrix. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia and a construction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Sonny Hendrix. Survivors include son Jason Hendrix of Artesia; daughters Krista Lewis of Artesia and Lori Gregory of Sweetwater, Texas; brothers Leon Hendrix of Artesia, and Leslie Hendrix of Artesia; sisters Ruth Ezell of Artesia, Phyllis Singleton of Carlsbad, N.M., and Kay Huffman of Roswell, N.M.; and eight grandchildren.
