Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Terpening Son Chapel for Kenneth Wayne Bodie Duncan Jr., 1902 Pine St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Duncan, 19, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Roswell, New Mexico. Rev. J.B. Craft will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Jiminez, Chris Galindo, Kristaffer Box, D.L. Denton, Louie Workman, Korey Jiminez, Levi Duncan and Fabian Jiminez. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Jiminez, Bobby Duncan, Ruben Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez and Arturo Rodriguez. A rosary is also scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Terpening Son Mortuary. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 12 p.m. Friday. Mr. Duncan was born November 2, 1989 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Kenneth Wayne Duncan Sr. and Teresa Jiminez Rodriguez. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a floorhand in the oilfield and also a jack of all trades. Survivors include his mother Teresa Rodriguez and husband Arturo of Carlsbad, N.M.; father Kenneth Duncan Sr. of Clayton, N.M.; brother Brandon Jiminez and Crystal of Albuquerque, N.M.; step-brothers Ruben Rodriguez and Nikki, Rudy Rodriguez, and Arthur Rodriguez all of Lovington, N.M.; sisters Terrah TK Duncan and Vince of Carlsbad, and Amber Jiminez and D.L. of Artesia; grandparents Bobby and Divina Duncan and Chris and Henry Jiminez all of Artesia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
