Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, at First Baptist Church, Artesia, New Mexico, for Katie Baldwin, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Mrs. Baldwin, 56, died Friday, November 18, 2005 in Rio Rancho. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Baldwin, Brian Fry, Art Schmidt, Robin Cook, Charles Rogers, and Kent Rogers. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday. Mrs. Baldwin was born July 9, 1949 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Wallace D. Cunningham and Lucille Culbertson Cunningham. On Sept. 5, 1992 she was married to John Baldwin in Artesia. She was an area resident from 1990 to 2001 at that time moving to Rio Rancho. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Denomination. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband John Baldwin of the family home; daughter Dana Leigh Thomas of Artesia; step-son Jason Baldwin of Carlsbad, N.M.; step-daughter Sandy Fry of Carlsbad; brother Walt Cunningham of Lakewood, Colorado; sisters Gayle Schmidt of Lakewood, Toni Cunningham of Heath, Texas and Norma Theisen of Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren Justin, Cody, and Kevin Fry; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
