Katharine Booth

Katharine E. Booth of Artesia, New Mexico died on January 23, 2024 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Mrs. Booth was born on November 2, 1924 in Missoula, Montana; the daughter of Jon Barry and Anna Hay Barry.

Katharine was an educator. She taught in the public school system starting out in Artesia. She also taught in Pueblo, Colorado, Greeley, Colorado and Reno, Nevada where she spent most of her teaching career.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Barry Beadle, husband Roscoe Booth, a son Randolph Beadle, and a sister Geradene Barry.

Survivors include her children Barry Beadle, Jon Beadle, George Beadle and Blair Booth.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 26 at Woodbine Cemetery.
