Juvencio Campos

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, November 16 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Juvencio Louis Campos, 301 W. Richey, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Campos, 71, died Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Father Vincent Petersen will offciate at the services with Fr. Richard Lifrak, Fr. Benedict Folger, Deacon Pablo Merjil and Deacon Manuel Luevano assisting as celebrants. The burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Manuel Marquez, Chris Perez, David Campos, Trent McCoy, Jessie Saiz and Sammy Luevano, Jr. A Rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Friday at Our Lady of Grace. Mr. Campos was born June 26, 1931 in Brady, Texas; the son of Jose Campos, Sr. and Anita Rivera Campos. He came to Artesia from Texas in 1939. On May 23, 1951 he was married to Dora Brito in Artesia. He was a auto mechanic for 34 years and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Dora Campos of the family home; daughters Lena Campos of Carlsbad, N.M. and Susie Perez and husband Julio of Artesia; a son Larry Campos and wife Flora of Artesia; brothers Ray Campos of Ruidoso, N.M. and Bert Farnsworth of Oklahoma; a sister Christine Harden of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
