Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Ms. Juliana Campbell of Artesia, N.M.
Ms. Campbell, 57, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the heart hospital in Plano, Texas.
Fr. Jorge Vargas will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Melton Campbell, Antonio Salinas, Michael Salinas, and Alex Salinas. Honorary pallbearers will be Antonio Salinas, Sr. and Felix Perrez.
Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Juliana was born January 9, 1960 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Charles M. Campbell and Maria E. (Duran) Campbell. She and her family moved to Artesia in 1976 from El Paso, Texas.
She was a cook and had been working for McAlister's Deli and also Nina's. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and enjoyed shopping, collecting things, and cooking but her love was spending time with her family.
Juliana was preceded in death by her father; sister Lilly Campbell, and a grandson Carlos Salinas.
She is survived by her children Veronica Salinas of Las Cruces, N.M., Yolanda Salinas of Hobbs, N.M., Antonio Salinas and Alex Salinas both of Artesia; mother Maria E. Campbell of Artesia; sisters Kate Perez of Artesia, and Maria Campbell of San Antonio, TX; brothers Charles Campbell of Artesia, Tommy Campbell of Phoenix, AZ, and Melton Campbell of Artesia; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
