Judy Brown

Memorial services were held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 20, at Terpening Son Chapel for Judy Lynn Brown, 1601 W. Centre, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Brown, 63, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Home in .

Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son. Pallbearers will be None.

Judy was born June 11, 1948 in Portales, New Mexico the daughter of Wilburn Shows and Maxine Akers Shows. She grew up in Roswell, New Mexico and attended school in Roswell. Judy lived in New Orleans for 30 years where she worked as a loving caring nurse. She was married to James L. Brown. She came to Artesia in 2010 from San Antonio, Texas. Judy will be forever remembered by her family as a very generous, caring and loving person.


Survivors include daughter Kimberly Parker and fiance Gilbert Palacios Schertz, Texas mother Maxine Shows of Artesia sisters Jo Parks of Albuquerque, NM, and Brenda Callaway and husband Jim of Artesia sisterinlaw Judy Shows grandson Sam Guebara of San Antonio, Texas niece Stephanie Stanford and husband Kevin nephews Patrick Shows and wife Celeste, Jim Callaway, Jack Callaway and wife Crystal, and Ray Callaway and wife Jamie.
