Judith Mcdaniel

Memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at Faith Baptist Church for Judith Ann McDaniel of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. McDaniel, 76, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at her home.

Mike Duff will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Judith was born October 29, 1940 in Benton Arkansas to Morris William Rommel and Lucille (Tatum) Rommel.

On April 26, 1969 she was married to C.C. McDaniel in Blum, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Michael Lynchesky.

Judith moved to Artesia to be closer to her grandchildren in 2004 from Texas. She worked at Bealls as a sales clerk and was a member of the Mooselodge. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cross-stitching and taking care of her plants. Her love was being a grandma and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Rowland of the family home; brothers John Rommel of Clarksville, Arkansas and Bill Rommel of Blum, Texas; grandchildren Kelsey Lynchesky of Dry Pong, Louisiana, Shane Lynchesky and Victoria Lynchesky both of Artesia; and great-grandsons Michael and Ryan Thompson.
