Juanita Baeza

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Juanita Herrera Baeza of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Baeza, 60, died Friday, June 17, 2011 at her home.

Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Moe Herrera, Benjamin Herrera, Gucci Lopez, Luchiano Lopez, Johnny Lara, Jr.,Eddie Herrera, Nat Huerta, and Fernando Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren Anthony Robert Baeza,Jewllysa Baeza, Mikkel Baeza, Vanessa Baeza, Andres Baeza, and Alonzo Baeza.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Jane was born May 28, 1951 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Samuel Herrera and Paula Quiroz Herrera. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On January 26, 1971 she was married to Roberto R. Baeza, Sr. in Artesia.

She was a transport driver for JJ Homecare and a member of Our lady of Grace Catholic Church. Jane also loved to sew and spend time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents brothers Joe Herrera, Ruben Herrera and sister Emma Baeza.

Survivors include her husband Roberto R. Baeza, Sr. of the family home son Robert H. Baeza and wife Sonia of Artesia brothers Anselmo Herrera and wife Lupe of Artesia, and Samuel C. Herrera, Jr., and wife Gregoria of Artesia sisters Mary Onsurez and husband Raymond of Tulare, CA, Carmen Onsurez and husband Natt of Tulare, and Adalberta Lara of Artesia 6 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
