Juan Luis Zubia passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024 in El Paso, Texas after a valiant battle against cancer. Services will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00 with a Rosary and mass following on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
Luis was born on June 20, 1975 in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio Zubia and Armida Miranda.
He married Veronica (Chavez) on July 16, 1994 and together they had 3 children, Karime, Luis, and Miranda. In 2000, Luis and Veronica moved to the United States, chasing the American Dream. Luis worked hard as a ranch hand, at the local dairies, and finally joined the team at Paynes Packing Company, where he remained until he was able to purchase and own the business for himself. This was one of his greatest and proudest accomplishments.

Luis also enjoyed watering and tending to his lawn, trees, and plants. This was one of his favorite pastimes. He could also be found traveling, watching movies, and helping others.
Luis leaves behind his wife, Veronica, 3 kids, Karime, Luis and wife Bianca, Miranda, and 3 granddaughters, Sofia, Olivia, and Isabella.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Armida.
