Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Terpening Son Chapel fro Joy MacKinnon, Artesia, New Mexico.

Visitation is scheduled at 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, at KasterMaxon Futrell Funeral Home, El Paso, Texas for Joy Britton MacKinnon, former El Paso resident.

Mrs. MacKinnon, 53, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home in Artesia, New Mexico.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Restlawn Memorial Park in El Paso.

Joy was born February 11, 1961 in El Paso, Texas the daughter of Charles Britton and Nellie Jo Williams Britton. She came to Artesia in 1994 from El Paso.

On May 18, 1985 she was married to Steve MacKinnon in El Paso.

She came to Artesia in 1994 from El Paso.

She was an inventory control clerk for Napa Auto and a member of the Baptist denomination.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Steve MacKinnon of Artesia daughter Jessica MacKinnon of Denton, Texas brothers Millard Britton of Monette, Missouri, and W. Slim Britton of Roswell, NM sister Mary Ann Gould of Meridian, Idaho father and motherinlaw Scottie and Mayrene MacKinnon of El Paso brotherinlaw Paul MacKinnon of El Paso numerous nieces and nephews.

Joys flower of choice was red and white carnations.
