Jossie Lyles

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:30 PM Saturday, December 14, at Terpening Son Chapel for Jossie E. Lyles, 81 E. Pearson Rd, Lake Arthur, New Mexico. Mrs. Lyles, 63, died Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Pastor Peggy White will officiate at the services with cremation under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mrs. Lyles was born March 11, 1939 in Merkel, Texas; the daughter of Euel Mashburn and Mary Horton Mashburn. On June 2, 1957, she was married to Waynon Lyles in Abilene, Texas. She came to the Lake Arthur area in 1958 from Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Methodist denomination. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Waynon Lyles of the family home; sons Greg Lyles and wife Letta of Lakewood, NM, Rodney Lyles of Lake Arthur, Jody Lyles and wife Julie of Lake Arthur, Ted Lyles wife Angie of Flower Mound, Texas, Barry Lyles wife Talley of Lake Arthur; 4 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren.
