Josephina Miranda

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Josephina Chavez Miranda, 1005 N. 5th Street, Artesia, New Mexico. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Mrs. Miranda, 48, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Artesia General Hospital in Artesia, New Mexico.

Josephina was born September 29, 1965 in Chihuahua, Mexico the daughter of Jose Albino Chavez and Sila Ortiz Chavez.

On Jan. 23, 1987 she was married to Jubentino Miranda in Chihuahua, Mexico. She came to Artesia in 2009 from Chihuahua.

Survivors include her husband Jubentino Miranda of the family home daughters Cila Miranda of Artesia and Roxana Miranda of Artesia a brother Jesus Manuel Simon Chavez Ortiz and sisters Maria Chavez Ortiz and Margarita Chavez Ortiz.
