Joseph Fields

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 11, at Woodbine Cemetery for Joseph C. Fields, 307 Avenue A, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Fields, 88, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Mr. Fields was born January 16, 1922 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Joel Clifton Fields and Iva Anna Miller Fields.

He came to Artesia in 1937 from Texas. He was an electrical technician at Guy Chevrolet for many years and was a member of the Methodist Denomination.

Survivors include a sister Mary Fields of Artesia cousins Robert L. Brazil and Robert B. Brazil of Artesia a niece and a nephew.
