Jose Pena was born on May 31st, 1977 in Portales, NM. He was lifelong resident of Artesia, NM.

Jose would endlessly drop everything that he was doing to take care of people's needs. He would give the shirt off his back to help others. He acted as the best role model to all the lives he touched. He gave the best of himself to his family and friends. He was a man who didn't take life to serious but never shied away from a hard day's work at Royal Services, LLC where he was employed for many years. He poured his heart and soul into his work and all the people he worked with absolutely admired him. There truly wasn't anything he couldn't do. He was THE man. He always showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need and would defend and stand up for his loved ones.

He was genuine and gave his pure unconditional love to everyone he encountered. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

"To the world you might've been one person. But, to us you were OUR world."

Jose was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his only brother Juanito Pena.
