Services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday, May 30 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Jose Edwardo Gutierrez of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Gutierrez, 86, died on May 22, 2023 in Roswell, New Mexico.
Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Church at 8 am on Tuesday. A rosary is also scheduled for 9:30 am on Tuesday.
Jose Gutierrez, 86, beloved Father, Brother, and Son, was called to his eternal resting place on May 22, 2023. He entered this world on October 20, 1936 in Marfa, TX, born to Jose Marquez and Nicolasa Gutierrez.
He enjoyed working outside doing lawn care and landscaping and spent many years working in the refineries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers William Rodriquez and Reyes Rodriguez, and two children Sammy Gutierrez and Brenda Gutierrez.
Survivors include his children Clarence Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Eddie Gutierrez, Zelda Partida and Janice DeLeon; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Ofelia Marquez.
