Jon Murray

Graveside services are scheduled at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 4, at Woodbine Cemetery for Jon Michael Brandon Murray of Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Murray, 35, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at his home. PPeggy White will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Heather Wagner, Jason Wagner, Dan Fanning, Daniel Sanchez, Mike Crouch, Shawn Goss, Ronnie Dunnavant, and Jamie Simer. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. PMr. Murray was born November 29, 1972 in Roswell, N.M; the son of Lee Murray and Barbara Still Ross. PHe came to Artesia in 1975. He was a graduate of Artesia High School in 1991. He later attended ENMU in Roswell, and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Albuquerque, N.M. He worked as a Medical Lab Technician for many facilities across New Mexico including Rio Pecos Medical Center in Roswell. PJon was preceded in death by his father and grandfathers.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Barbara Ross and husband Ron of Artesia; brothers Bobby Chad Murray of Artesia, and Nicholas Ross of Albuquerque; sister Heather Murray Wagner of Roswell; grandmothers Zoya Still of Monument, Colorado, and Betty Jean Murray of Roswell; niece Santana Murray of Lake Arthur, N.M.; nephews Denton Lee Murray of Lake Arthur, and Caleb Chad Murray of Artesia.
