Johnny Stark

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Johnny R. Stark of Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Stark, 51 died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Artesia General Hospital. PMichael Joiner will officiate at the services. PMr. Stark was born January 20, 1955 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Gilbert Stark and Ishel Stone Stark. PHe was a lifelong resident of the Artesia area. PHe was a driller in the oilfield and member of Hermosa Church of Christ. PHe was preceded in death by his father and a grandchild.
Survivors include his mother Ishel Stark of Artesia; son Brandon Stark and wife Anisa of Artesia; daughter Misty Phillips and husband Jason of Artesia; sisters Elvie Lou Smith and husband Clyde of Midland, Texas, Shirley Rickstrew and husband Ralph of Amarillo, Texas, and Brenda Lanning of Artesia; seven grandchildren.
