Johnny Johnson

Memorial celebration services are scheduled at 1:00 PM Monday, Dec. 9, at First United Methodist Church for Johnny Johnson, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Johnson, 43, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Artesia.

Scott Gray will officiate at the services.

Johnny was born April 13, 1970 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Randy Johnson and Betty Freeman Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

On Dec. 21, 2010 he was married to Jovan Wheeler in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was a pump mechanic for George Young Sales. He was a member of First Unitd Methodist Church, loved spending time with his kids and family, enjoyed golf and was a very good cook.

Survivors include his wife Jovan Johnson of Espanola, NM sons Johnathan and Ory Johnson daughters Brodi and Avery Johnson stepdaughter Kiara Rael brother Wade Johnson and wife Lisa sisters Marcye Davis and husband Andy, and Shara Guajardo and husband John nephew Seth Smith and fiance Kelly nieces Brandi Ruezga and husband Albert, Randi Kirkpatrick and husband Eric, Candice Perez, Brooke Johnson, and Kiara Johnson geat nieces Sky Ruezga and Kalli Kirkpatrick great nephew Gus Ruezga numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special thank you to his family at George Young Sales for making this last few months of his life so happy.
