John Schneider

Memorial Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Sep. 26 at Terpening Son Mortuary for lifelong Artesia area resident John Allen Schneider.

John Allen, 53, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.

Leo Pennington will officiate at the services. Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. No visitation is planned.

John was born October 1, 1957 in Artesia the son of Bernard William Schneider and Billie Kay Markham Schneider. His parents both preceded him in death.

He worked in the oil field and was a member of the Baptist denomination.

Survivors include sons Don Turner, Jr. of Seattle, Wash., Cody Allen Schneider of Hot Springs, Ark., Robert Dean Schneider of Hot Springs, and Skyler Johnston of Artesia a brother Bobby Schneider of Sawyer, Okla. a sister Jo Lynn Schneider of Artesia and three grandchildren.
