John Riddle

A graveside service is scheduled for 2pm Monday, November 15, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park, Artesia, New Mexico for John L. Riddle of Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Mr. Riddle, 84, died on November 10, 2021 in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
John was born on October 11, 1937 in Artesia; the son of Don Riddle and Edith Riddle. He attended public schools in Artesia, and upon graduation in 1955, he went to Texas Tech to be the starting quarterback of the '58 and '59 Red Raiders Football team. After graduating graduation he went on to graduate school at Texas Tech to get a masters in Engineering. He later attended Southern Methodist University for a Law Degree.
He was a devoted son, an engineer, an attorney, and a teacher.
He is survived by his son Jason John Riddle of Florida, and his granddaughters, Lexi and Cecelia Riddle.
