Jo Bivens

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Jo Ann Bivens of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bivens, 78, passed away on August 21, 2017 in Artesia.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Jo Ann was born on February 12, 1939 in Artesia; the daughter of Lowell and Inez (Pearson) Faulk. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

She was a housewife and co-owner of Artesia Rentals and Jo's Scarlet Rose in Carlsbad, N.M. Jo Ann enjoyed her grand-dogs, always saw the sunshine in each day and was the light of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John Bivens.

Survivors include her sons Tony Bivens of Artesia and Shawn Bivens of Artesia; sisters Arlene Fowler of Artesia and Loretta Walker and husband Les of Roswell, N.M.; numerous nieces and nephews.
