Jimmy Madron

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, at Lower Hope Cemetery in Hope, New Mexico for Jimmy Leroy Madron, Mayhill, New Mexico. Mr. Madron, 61, died Monday August 31, 2009 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Randy Madron, Billy Workman, Chris Ocanas, Mathew Hoage, Travis Madron, and Wally Sipel. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Madron, David Madron, Walter Madron, Cecil Madron, Phillip Madron and Earl Osborne. Mr. Madron was born November 7, 1947 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Jimmy Madron and Thelma Johnson Madron. He was a lifelong area resident. He served in the Unites States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was a mail contractor and attended the Mayhill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and five sisters. Survivors include sons Randy Madron of Weewoka, Oklahoma, and Billy Workman of Tularosa, N.M.; sister Vera Osborne of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandson Travis Lee Madron of Portales, N.M.
