Jimmy Collier

Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, May. 7, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Jimmy E. Collier of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Collier, 98, died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Sunset Villa in Roswell, New Mexico.

Her son will officiate at the services.

Jimmy was born February 16, 1914 in Hamilton, Texas the daughter of George F. King and Leota Coleman King. She came to Artesia in 1931 from Texas.

On April 11, 1941 she was married to Rayburn Dyess Collier in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death June 10, 1970. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.

Jimmy was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son James Ray Collier of San Francisco, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
