Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May. 11, at West Main Baptist Church for Jimmy Dale Bristow of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Bristow, 80, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jason Kraft will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be his grand and greatgrandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Virgil Johnson and Raymond Goodrich.
Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Friday from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
Jim was born July 27, 1931 in Haskell, Texas the son of Nolan Henry Bristow and Alice Lois Pierce Bristow.
On July 25, 1949 he was married to Norma Jean Towler in Pecos, Texas. They came to the Artesia area in November of 1955.
Jim was a member of West Main Baptist Church. He was also an OwnerOperator of Bristow Pump Co., JJ Car Wash in Roswell, N.M., and most recently a land developer of the Quail Run subdivision.
He has joined his parents and two brothers Junior and Shorty as well as many wonderful friends in Heaven.
Survivors include his wife Norma Jean Bristow of the family home daughters Gwenetta Morgan and husband Carl and their three children, and Kay Roarke and husband John and their four children sons Dale Bristow and wife Morgan and their five children, and Randy Bristow and wife Shelly and their three children 18 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.
