Jimmie Graham

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday, December 5 at Woodbine Cemetery for Jimmie Don Graham of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Graham, 83, died on November 29, 2022 at his home in Artesia.

Lee Roy Howard will officiate at the services. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2 to 6 pm on Sunday.

Jimmie was born on February 22, 1939 in Henderson, Texas; the son of Howard W. Graham and Hazel Goheen Graham.

Jimmie was a welder for 37 years, ending his career with PNM. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He loved sports and could usually be found watching football every Friday through Sunday during the fall. He owned three Basset Hounds, the last of which, Wilson, was a minor celebrity in Artesia. Later in life, he took up the hobby of woodworking and crafted many pieces that he displayed in his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Kevin Graham.

Survivors include his wife Opal Graham; brothers Howard Gene Graham and Corky Graham; sister-in-law Connie Graham; a grandson Brady Graham and granddaughter-in-law Corey; and a great-grandson Keenan Graham.
