Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Ancla de la Fe Assembly of God for Jesus Grado Levario, 1000 Oklahoma, Lake Arthur, New Mexico. Mr. Levario, 90, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at his daughters home in Artesia, New Mexico. Manuel Carrera will officiate at the services with burial at Lake Arthur Cemetery, Lake Arthur, N.M. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 am. Friday. Mr. Levario was born February 19, 1919 in Terlingua, Texas; the son of Manuel Levario and Maria Grado Levario. In November 1939 he was married to Ysidra Mata in Ojinaga, Mexico. He came to Cottonwood, N.M. in 1952 from Alpine, Texas. She preceded him in death Sept. 29, 2001. He was a farmer, cowboy and member of Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Maria Socorro Levario, a brother, two sisters and four grandchildren. Survivors include sons Manuel Levario of Artesia, Jesus Levario Jr. of Lake Arthur, Mike Levario of Artesia, Leo Levario of Lake Arthur, Ysidro Levario of Artesia, and Jesus Jose Levario of Hagerman, N.M.; daughters Maria Reveles of Artesia, Josefina Juarez of Kermit, Texas, Elena Lara of Roswell, N.M., and Elia Levario of Kansas City, Missouri; brother Pablo Levario of Midland, Texas; sisters Socorro Ramos of Midland, Agripina Navarro of Odessa, Texas, and Josefina Moreno of Ojinaga; 58 grandchildren, 105 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
