Jesus Garcia

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Jesus Aristeo Garcia of Lake Arthur, New Mexico.

Mr. Garcia, 58, died October 7, 2019 at his home.

Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jim Palmer, Martin Chavarria, Jimmy Salcido, Harvey Garcia, Martin Garcia and Gabriel Rubio. Honorary pallbearer is Miguel Rubio Jr.

Jesus was born December 10, 1960 in Alpine, TX; the son of Aristeo Garcia and Paula (Quintela) Garcia.

He was a truck driver and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, cooking and working on his truck.

He was preceded in death by a brother Ramon Garcia and sister Martha Garcia.

Survivors include his son Michael Aguilera of Odessa, TX; daughter Leticia Garcia of Artesia; parents Aristeo and Paula Garcia of Lake Arthur; sister Rosa Rubio of Lake Arthur; grandchildren Liam and Hayden Baker; nephews Gabriel Rubio and wife Samantha and Miguel Rubio Jr.; great niece and nephew Anayeli and Adrian Rubio.
