Jesus Carrasco

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, September 23, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Jesus F. Carrasco, 14 W. Four Dinkus Rd., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Carrasco, 57, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at his home.

Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services. Cremation will be under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Lee Delgado, Jose Carbajal, David Florez, Ricardo Florez, Luis Florez, Angel Gonzales and Michael Florez, II. Honorary pallbearers will be Nehemiah AlmanzaCarrasco, Joseph RodriguezCarrasco, Pete Carrasco and all cousins and friends.

A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Carrasco was born April 3, 1953 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Jesus B. Carrasco and Margaret Flores Carrasco.

He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was a sales representative for Redman Supply and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and Artesia Moose Lodge. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboys Fan, enjoyed playing pool with friends, fishing and music by Santana.

He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson Izaak Joel Carrasco.

Survivors include the mother of his children Virginia Carrasco of Artesia mother Margaret Carrasco of Artesia son Izaak J. Carrasco and wife Alexandria of Artesia daughter April Carrasco of Artesia brother Pete Carrasco and wife Arabela of Kermit, Texas sister Socorro Dominguez and husband Carmen of Kermit grandchildren Joseph E. RodriguezCarrasco Nehemiah AlmanzaCarrasco.
