Jesse Bell

Jesse Dalton Bell was born on September 20, 1980 to Sylvia and John Bell in Roswell, New Mexico. He was the second of 6 children: 4 daughters and 2 sons. Jesse grew up in Kermit, Texas, and graduated from Kermit High School in 1999. After graduating, Jesse served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Portland, Oregon. When he came home, he began dating Leanne Riley, who was working for his father at the time. They married on October 28, 2002 in the Riley home in Monahans, Texas. Jesse and Leanne and their children lived in Monahans for four happy years. He graduated with an Associate's Degree from Midland College and completed a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado Technical University. They moved to Burleson, Texas in 2006, where he worked for Sid Richardson, Southern Union Gas Services, Mouser Electronics and GM Financial as the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Administrator. Jesse resided with the family he loved until his passing on January 14 of this year.

He is survived by his wife Leanne, his 3 children Sydney, Jack and Katie, his parents John and Sylvia who now have a ranch in the Weed area, his brother Jacob, his 4 sisters Mary, Laura, Amy, and Bitsy, his many sister and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews, his grandparents Dalton and Happy Bell of Artesia, NM, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Jesse's family was his greatest treasure and he was an amazing husband, father, son, uncle, and brother. From the time he could walk, Jesse loved science and animals and always seemed to have a frog, lizard or snake close by. He was the best creature locator who loved to take his sisters, brother, and later his children and nieces and nephews on adventures. He was a gentle, kind man who loved and served his family with all of his heart. His passing has left a hole that can never be filled, and he will be deeply missed. There will be a memorial at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building, 601 East IH20 service road, in Monahans, Texas.
