Jerry Ivy

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, at Woodbine Cemetery for Jerry D. Ivy of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Ivy, 43, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at his home. Rev. Jason Kraft will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Ivy, Lance Ivy, Christopher Callaway, and Greg Bannister. Mr. Ivy was born November 5, 1961 in Duncan, Oklahoma; the son of Lee T. Ivy and Doris Motley Ivy. He was a graduate of Artesia High School in 1979 and a livelong resident of Artesia. He worked as a Roughneck in the oil industry and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother Doris Ivy of family home; sons Jeremy David Ivy, and Travis Lee Ivy both of Arizona; step-daughter Keri Fouse and husband Shawn of Arizona; brothers Jack Ivy and wife Gayla of Artesia, N.M., and Larry Ivy and wife Aleene of Artesia; sister Janice Callaway and husband Ray of Wesilla, Alaska; and two grandchildren.
