Jerry Dominguez

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church
for Jerry Mendosa Dominguez, 502 N. 8th St., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Dominguez, 78, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons Daniel Alcocer, Bobby Alcocer, Levi Dominguez, Richard Flores, Frank Flores, David Flores, Julian Flores and Pedro Garcia. A rosary service is also planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at noon Thursday.

Jerry was born September 30, 1932 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the son of Seferino Dominguez and Julia Mendosa Dominguez.

On January 1950 he was married to Rita Brizeno in Carlsbad. They came to Artesia in
2006 from California.

He was a retired grocery produce manager and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic
Church. He also served 3 years in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents by a brother Alvino Dominguez sisters Ramona Pacheco and Trini Martinez and a grandson Brian Paul Dominguez.

Survivors include his wife Rita Dominguez of the family home sons David Dominguez and Daniel Dominguez both of Santa Ana, Calif. and Domingo Dominguez of Artesia daughters Deborah Dominguez of Artesia, Diana Stanfield of Perris, Calif., Dora Dominguez of Tustin, Calif., and Delfina Dominguez of Santa Ana brothers Pete Dominguez of Portales, N.M. and John Dominguez of Downy, Calif. a sister Alyce Delgado of Roswell, N.M. 15 grandchildren 22 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild.
