He was also a member of the S.A.E., the A Club and the Academic Decathlon in High School, a member of the Snake Shakers; and was active in the youth group at First United Methodist Church. His passion for sports, hunting and fishing was only complete when he was joined by his best buds. Jerrod loved spending time with all his family and friends. He was employed by Leaco Communications. He was preceded in death by his aunt Cheryl Kyle Spence and aunt Diana Fowler Delgado.
