Jeremy Bernal

Memorial Mass is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Jeremy Antwone Bernal of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Bernal, 25, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.

Fr. Martin Cornejo O.F.M. will officiate at the services. Creamation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Jeremy was born January 6, 1989 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the son of David D. Bernal and Veronica A. Valdez Bernal. He was a longtime Artesia resident.

He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and enjoyed singing, dancing, and music.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his greatgrandparents Antonia and Enemenzio Ybarra, Esther Bernal and Ramon Bernal.

Survivors include his parents David and Veronica Bernal of Artesia brothers David Bernal, Jr. of Santa Fe, N.M., Michael Bernal of Portales, N.M., and Raymond Bernal of Roswell, N.M. sisters Candice Bernal of Artesia, and Desiree Bernal of Las Cruces, N.M. grandparents Dora Ybarra of Dexter, N.M., and Manuel Ledia Valdez of Roswell.Preceded in death by greatgrandparents Antonia and Enemenzio Ybarra, Esther Bernal and Ramon Bernal.
