Jennifer Bliss

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday June 14, at First Baptist Church for Jennifer C. Bliss-Turpin of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bliss, 39, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the service with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Cooper, Aaron Fugate, Sammy Garcia, P.J. Sternadel, Jimmy Ray Garcia, and Justin Tudor.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Jennifer was born May 8, 1977 in Kermit, Texas to Bennie Tudor and Ramona "Mony" (Lattion) Tudor. She moved to Artesia in 1987 from Texas and was an Artesia resident ever since.

She was a dog groomer here in town for many years. She attended both Faith Baptist and First Baptist Church. Jennifer was very active in supporting her children, she was a Cheer Mom for softball and tennis.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandmother Clarice Lattion and cousin David Hooten.

Survivors include her parents Mony Fuller and husband Casey of Artesia; father Bennie Tudor and wife Elaine of Port Lavaca, Texas; aunt Becky Sternadel of Lake Ivy, Texas; grandmother Patty Fuller of Artesia; daughters Breanna Cooper and husband Kyle, Alisha Hill, and Devin Turpin all of Artesia; sisters Nikki Tudor, Kari Bliss, Katie Tudor, Kasey Tudor, and Shawna Tudor all of Texas; brothers Dennis Bliss and Justin Tudor both of Texas; and a granddaughter Kylieanna Cooper of Artesia with another grandchild on the way; Uncle Mike Fuller of Lake Arthur, N.M.; aunt Danette Malone of Artesia; and numerous other uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Paws and Claws in Jennifer's name.

The family will be greeting people following the service at 707 N. 16th St. here in Artesia following lunch.
