On November 28, 1958, Samuel Walker and Alma Jean were blessed with a son who they named Jeffry Lewis Walker. He was born in Miami Florida and spent his youth playing football and basketball. He developed a love for sports and continued to play competitively throughout his lifetime.
After growing up in Miami, Jeffry continued his education at Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado. It was during this time that he met Janice Ortiz, later moving to New Mexico they had three children, Kimberly Jean Marie, Jacquelyn Leona Sheree and Jeffry Isaiah Thomas Walker.
Jeffry relocated to Artesia where he married, extended his family and began his businesses. He spent the remainder of his life in Artesia surrounded by family and friends.
He leaves precious unforgettable memories with many: including his siblings Debra Stevens, Bryce, Joseph, and Jonathan Walker; Half-siblings Samuel Jr. and Jacqueline Walker (1956-2021); Nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; grandchildren Jailee, Jacob, Roman, John, Zyla and Mchale; and a host of other relatives and friends.
