Jazlynn Ortega

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, at Faith Baptist Church for Jazlynn Faith Ortega of Artesia, New Mexico. Baby Jazlynn died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Lucille Packard Childrens Hospital at Stanford in Palo Alto, California. Pastor Michael Duff will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family members. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 4:00 p.m. Baby Jazlynn was born April 19, 2009 in Palo Alto; the daughter of Hiram Ortega and Brenda Berdoza Ortega. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Francisco Berdoza. Survivors include her parents Hiram and Brenda Berdoza Ortega and her two brothers Jayven, and Jaykob Ortega all of the family home; grandparents Carmen Berdoza of Artesia, Perry Ortega of Roswell, N.M., and Mary Sanchez of Roswell; great-grandparents Jose Munoz of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Marcelina Briseno of Roswell; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
