Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 28, at Church of God for Javier Albino Baca, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Baca, 34, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at Artesia General Hospital. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jake Baeza, Manuel Cano, Israel Cano, Juan Baca, Albino Baca and Roy Calderon. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of God. Mr. Baca was born January 5, 1969 in Phoenix, Arizona; the son of Albino C. Baca and Aurora Lujan Baca. He came to Artesia in 1993 from Colorado. On April 5,1994 he was married to Lisa Bejarano in Artesia. He was a Roustabout in the oil field and a roofer. He attended Iglesia Bautista, and was active with his kids sports and school activities. He was preceded in death by father and grandparents. Survivors include his wife Lisa Baca of the family home; mother Aurora Baca of Phoenix; sons Jeremy Bejarano of Artesia, Javier Gabino Baca Jr. of Artesia, Johnathan Mikol Baca of Artesia, and Mario Baca of Pueblo, Colorado; brothers Juan Martin Baca of Phoenix, and Albino Mario Baca Jr. of Phoenix; sisters Nancy L. Baeza of Hobbs, NM, Diana Baca of Phoenix, Leticia Baca of Hobbs, and Delores Calderon of Hobbs; numerous nieces and nephews.
