Janice Sanders

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Janice Sanders of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Sanders, 59, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.

Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Mrs. Sanders was born December 2, 1950 in Artesia the daughter of Frank Savoie and Dorothy Melton Savoie.

On June 2, 1975 she was married to Michael Sanders in Carlsbad, N.M. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

Janice was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Marshall and Frankie Lynn Savoie.

Survivors include her husband Michael Sanders of the family home brother Dan Savoie of Lewisville, Texas sisters Evelyn Howard and husband Dewaine of Roswell, N.M., and Peggy Beck of Ft. Sumner, N.M. nephew and many nieces.
