Janice Bratcher

No services are scheduled for Janice Kay Fleming Bratcher, 302 N. 4th St., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bratcher, 62, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Lubbock, Texas.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son.

Mrs. Bratcher was born July 18, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas the daughter of Elmer Frank Fleming and Clara Mae McCarley Fleming.

She came to Artesia in 1953 from Texas. On Dec. 6, 1964 she was married to Wayne Bratcher in Mexico.

She was a LPN, a devout christian, loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving father Elmer Frank Fleming, mother Clara Wetsel and sister Pattie Wetsel.

Survivors include a son Bryan Wayne Bratcher and wife Rachel of Carlsbad, N.M. daughters Kellie Bratcher of Artesia, and Michelle Bratcher of Henderson, Texas 8 grandchildren Ashlee Bratcher, Hayley Stevenson, Jerry Gunasegaram, Madalyn Bratcher, Devin Dennis, Stevie Dennis, Tyler Bratcher and Sydney Bratcher 3 greatgrandchildren Sierra Clayborn, Anahi Amaya and Cody M. Stevenson.
