Janet Reede

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 2, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Janet Kay Reede of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Reede, 57, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her home.

Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rusty Heady, Todd Hendrix, Emory Mann, Jr., Travis Mann, Daniel Laman, and Dewayne Mayo.

Mrs. Reede was born November 1, 1952 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the daughter of Joe Peterson and Mary Ballard Peterson.

In September of 1971 she was married to Darald W. Reede in Artesia, N.M. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

Janet was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Temple.

She was preceded in death by her brother Tom Peterson and son Billy Reede.

Survivors include husband Darald Reede of the family home father Joe Peterson and wife Kay of Livingston, Texas mother Mary Ballard of Carlsbad, N.M. son Brian Reede of Hobbs, N.M. brothers Tim Peterson of Georgia, Terry Peterson of California, and Scott of California sisters Kathy Carr of Livingston, Texas, and Sherri Rooney grandchildren Shiann Standard, Maisa Reede, and Daniel Laman all of Artesia.
