Jane Romero

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20th, at Terpening Son Chapel for Jane Juana Romero of Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Romero, 59, died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room. Cremation is under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mrs. Romero was born June 26, 1946 in Osawatomie, Kansas; the daughter of Clarence Johnson and Eva Yocum Johnson. She came to Artesia in 1972 from Kansas. She worked as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister. Survivors include her daughter Rhonda Ramirez and husband Andres of Artesia, N.M.; brother Jerry Johnson and wife Sherry of Garden Grove, California; sisters JoHanna Megyeri and husband Joe, and Clarice Matney both of Olathe, Kansas; and granddaughter Katarina Ramirez of Artesia.
