Jane Hernandez

Graveside services are scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Woodbine Cemetery for Jane De Anda Sosa Hernandez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Hernandez, 83, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Theresa Healthcare in Albuquerque, N.M.

Pete Perez will officiate at the services.

Jane was born August 13, 1928 in Presidio, Texas the daughter of Porfidio Sosa and Manuela De Anda Sosa. She was a longtime Artesia resident.

In 1950 she was married to Bonifacio Hernandez in Presidio, Texas.

Jane was a homemaker and attended the Artesia Adult Day Care. She loved the outdoors and nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and Sister Maria Luisa Hernandez.

Survivors include her husband Bonifacio Hernandez of Artesia daughters Gloria Villegas of Crane, Texas, Mary Louise Wagner of Artesia, and Delma Sue ONeill of Edgewood, N.M. son Bonifacio Hernandez, Jr. of Albuquerque brother Manuel Sosa sister Maria Luz Gomez 7 grandchildren 3 greatgrandchildren and numerous extended family members.
