James Guy

Memorial services are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at First Baptist Church for longtime Artesia resident James Edward Guy of Tulsa, Okla.

James passed away January 19, 2015 in Tulsa. Pastor Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services.

James was born January 26, 1934 in Gorman, Texas; the son of and Otis and Ruby Guy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

James is survived by his wife Peggy J. Guy; daughter Kellye Jones and her husband Kevin; son Todd Guy and his wife Jodi; grandchildren Nikki Presshall and her husband Adam; Magen Bednar and her husband Brandon; Landry Jones and his wife Whitney; Brittani Gates and her husband Jason; Jeremy Guy and his wife Katie; Kennedi Guy; Worake Guy and Dimo Guy; by great-grandchildren Asher, Lucas, Zeb, Hadley, "to be" Harper; and a brother Pat Guy and his wife Linda.
