Jack Herron

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13 at Woodbine Cemetery for Jackie Dean Herron of Roswell, New Mexico.

Mr. Herron, 74, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at his home.

Larry Rolan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Jack was born April 27, 1939 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the son of Marsh and Ruth Triplet Herron. He was a longtime Artesia resident.

He served his country in the National Guard.

Jack was a truck driver and drove for Navajo last.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his daughters Connie Harrison and husband Mike of Pinon, N.M., Peggy Harrison and husband Richard of Artesia, Donna Jaramillo of Artesia, Kindra Guy and husband Graham of Artesia, and Kelly Constantino and husband Paul of Leveland, TX sons Jackie Herron and wife Sylvia of Artesia, and Danny Herron and wife Amy of Artesia 10 grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren sister Joyce West of Artesia, and Pat Rouell of Salisaw, OK and brothers Harold Herron of Anton, Texas, and Kim Herron of Artesia.
