Ishel Heathman

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:OO p.m. Monday, October 9, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Ishel Shel Stark Heathman, 1400 S. 13th. Street, Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Heathman, 79, died , October 6, 2006, in Roswell, N.M. PMichael Joiner will officiate at the services. Visitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday. PMrs. Heathman was born March 16, 1927 in Atoka, Oklahoma; the daughter of Joseph Stone and Madina Watson Stone. PShe came to Artesia in 1945 from Texas. PShe was a housekeeper for Pecos Valley Telephone and member of Hermosa Church of Christ. PShe was preceded in death by her parents and a son Johnny Stark.
Survivors include daughters Elvie Smith and husband Clyde of Midland, Texas, Shirley Rickstrew and husband Ralph of Amarillo, Texas, and Brenda Lanning of Artesia; sisters Irene Downs of Artesia, and Nell Britt of Artesia; grandchildren Carlton and Clyde Jr. Smith of Austin, Texas, Cliff and Nessa Madron of Amarillo, Ryan Clayton of Mesa, Arizona, Justin, Laura, and Kyla Lanning of Artesia, Brandon and Misty Stark of Artesia; several great-grandchildren; an Angel Friend Patty Crouch of Artesia.
