Inez Faulk

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 4 at Terpening Son Mortuary for Inez Faulk, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Faulk, 86, died Monday, June 2, 2003 in Roswell, New Mexico. Pastor Danny Sons will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Tony Bivens, Corey Fowler, Shawn Bivens, Craig Walker, Mike Walker, Scott Walker, and Billy Fowler. Mrs. Faulk was born March 3, 1917 in Plainview, Texas; the daughter of John Erwin Pearson and Oreta Crow Pearson. On May 10, 1935 she was married to Lowell Faulk in Tulia, Texas. They came to Artesia in 1937 from Plainview. He preceded her in death April 14, 1981. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister Iona Malone; and by a brother Paul Pearson. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist denomination. She enjoyed painting and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest hobby was her family. Survivors include daughters Arlene Fowler and husband Bill of Artesia, JoAnn Bivens and husband John of Artesia, and Loretta Walker and husband Les of Roswell, N.M.; a sister Reta Lopez of Sherman, Texas; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
