Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sep. 20, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Homer Levario Hernandez, 804 Alvarado Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Hernandez, 39, died Friday, September 14, 2012 in Artesia, New Mexico.
Burial will be at Lake Arthur Cemetery, Lake Arthur, N.M. Pallbearers will be John Ortega, Johnathan Perez, Harvey Moreno, Marco Esparza, Sam Perez, Christopher Herrera, Mario Martinez, Johnny Ortiz, Nick Brito, and Julian Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Alfonso Sifuentes, Gerardo Camargo, and Jaime Hernandez, Jr.
A rosary is also schedueld for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Homer was born May 12, 1973 in Tularosa, New Mexico the son of Homer Hernandez, Sr. and Maria Levario. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.
He was a construction worker and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by brothers Jaime Hernandez and Juan Sifuentes, and a sister Maria Dolores Camargo.
Survivors include his mother Maria Burchett and husband Harry of Artesia father Homer Hernandez Sr. of Los Lunas, N.M. fiance Yolanda Martinez of Alamogordo, N.M.: sons Isaac Hernandez of Roswell, N.M., Enrique Hernandez of Artesia, Homer Hernandez III of Artesia, and Amado Juan Hernandez of Artesia daughters Melinda Hernandez of Artesia, Ysenia Norman of West Virginia, and Ysidra Hernandez of Artesia brothers Gerardo Camargo and wife Amanda of Artesia, and Alfonso Sifuentes and wife Trista of Artesia sisters Sylvia Hernandez of Lake Arthur, N.M., Margaret Tesillo of Clovis, N.M., and Marisela Esparza and husband Marco of Muleshoe, Texas grandmother Mary Walker of Los Lunas.
